The Eleven Precepts of Vision Peace
Ministries are spiritual principles that reflect our guiding beliefs.
1.
Life is consciousness. Our outer world reflects our inner thoughts,
beliefs, and current individual and collective understandings. External
peace is borne of internal peace.
2. All of Life is
interconnected, interdependent, and in essence, eternal.
3. God – by whatever name
– is everywhere present. Diversity in people, as in nature, is sublime
and Divine Expression.
4. The earth and all of
Life is sacred. Human Beings are of immeasurable worth, created in the
image and likeness of God, therefore inseparable from the Divine.
5. Love in truest form is
unconditional, the most powerful force in the Universe, and the purest
manifestation of God. Prejudicial judgments hinder awareness,
expression, and experience of Love.
6. The past and the future
are illusionary. God is present here and now.
7. Science and
Spirituality are not mutually exclusive and are most effective when
harmonized. Faith without science is superstition. Science without faith
is blind.
8. Spirit moves through
art, through creative expression, through humble questioning and seeking
of Truth.
9. Freedom is essential to
Spiritual growth and expansion, and is inextricably linked with
responsibility. Freedom of choice, religion, expression, and individual
action is most powerful when in harmony with Divine Will for the Highest
Good of All.
10. Boundless Gratitude,
Affirmative Prayer, Loving Kindness, and Service to one another is the
common duty of humankind and kindles greatness in the human soul. To
deeply know oneself and live accordingly, in surrendered service to God,
one another, and our world, is the highest form of devotion and worship.
Ministry is the responsibility of all.
11. Theologies, doctrines,
dogmas, isms, or any teachings based on external controls or hatreds
that exclude, divide and separate humankind are not Absolute Truth and
will not stand the Universal Test of time. In Divine Order, all is
evolving to Oneness, Unified Diversity, and Love, which is God.
