What a Wonderful World |

This week’s Sunday Message is an exercise.
First, I’ll ask you to identify a challenge or problem that
you are experiencing in your life at this time. Bring it to conscious
awareness.
What is it? A worry? (Fear) A heartache? (Grief) A
feeling of resentment? (Anger) Broken Trust? (Faith) Something else?
Whatever it is, identify it. Refrain from judgment. Allow
it to be what it is. Take as much time as you want.
Now, set it aside. Simply move it off your “to do” desk.
Let it go, release it completely. Bye-bye now. (You know you can come back to
it later if you choose to.)
Let's create a consciousness shift. Take a few deep
breaths. In heart and mind, think about or visualize something or someone or an
experience for which you are grateful. “Big” or “small” is of no
consequence. You can frame it in the powerful and affirmative structure of “I
Am.” (“I Am grateful for…or I Am grateful that…”) Think it in your mind. Feel
it in your heart. Feel free to speak it out loud.
If you want to give your gratitude an extra flourish...a
little more oomph... take some additional time to write it down in a simple and
concise form.
Congratulations.
In your own inimitable way, you have just articulated the
Highest form of Prayer.
PRAYER. Polished, flowing words, eloquence, or rote recitation is
not a requirement. Long sentences or fanciful words aren’t necessary.
In
most cases a simple “Thank You” will suffice.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
You are powerful.
This is Mastery.
Practice. Practice. Practice.
